This is a show based off of the light novel series, Black Blood Brothers, by Kōhei Azano.  Also a 12 episode anime, Black Blood Brothers is a show about vampires co-existing with humans.  It mainly follows the story of Mimiko Katsuragi, a human, or Red Blood, who works for the Order Coffin Company, the company that keeps the peace between humans and vampires.  Set in a region called "The Special Zone", an epic battle between a group called Kowloon Children ensued, threatening the peace between the Red Bloods and the Black Bloods.  But thanks to the help of Jiro Mochizuki, and other Black Bloods, the Special Zone is saved from this threat.

"Shadows From The Past" takes place several months after the incident in the Special Zone.  Delving into some of the history of the Special Zone, this story unveils a new threat that could tear apart everything The Company has worked for, and orphaned Mimiko is the key to everything.

This thirteen episode production features a cast of talented actors and actresses, and the ambiance of a supernatural story mixed with drama, mystery, and a little romance.  It will satisfy the inner "vampire" in you.
