Welcome to The Fruits Basket Radio Drama!
This show is based off of the manga by Natsuki Takaya.
Fruits Basket, also sometimes called Furuba, is a story about a girl named Tohru Honda, an orphaned girl who comes across a rather unusual family by the name of Sohma. After meeting Yuki, Shigure, and Kyo Sohma, Tohru realizes that this family is cursed by the Twelve Zodiacs, causing thirteen members of this family to be possessed by the members of the zodiac. They will transform into their respective animal if embraced by a member of the opposite gender of anyone not a member of the Zodiac, or if their bodies become weak. When Tohru finds out about this curse, she promises to keep their secret and ends up living with the family. However, life is not as happy and cheerful as she would like, as the curse reaches darker and deeper ends, causing rifts in the family. It is up to Tohru to try and find a way to break the curse and free the Sohmas forever.
Our production follows the events of the manga as the story unfolds. With a cast of over fifty members, this show is the largest production for The Manga Project. Our cast and crew range from all over the world, with many new voice talents to the entertainment industry. We have been recognized by various professional voice actors in the voice over industry. We hope you will enjoy this show.
